Welcome to New Laigh Kirk.
On the 29th October 2009 Grange Church and Laigh West High Kirk united to become one in God’s hand. Two families of fellowship and faith bringing their respective histories together casting the foundation of a new emerging story built on worship, fellowship and service.
Worshipping in the ‘old lady of Kilmarnock’ New Laigh Kirk is historically old yet modern and vibrant in its work and witness to her town and parish.
We are steeped in history here and have an appreciation of a treasured inheritance, but that does not make us a museum for we are very much alive and hardworking in all we undertake in our town and parish as we care for, and welcome all from the heart of Kilmarnock.
Inside our church is bright and attractive with beautiful stained glass windows enhancing the ambience of this theatre of worship where we meet and feel Christ’s presence among us.
Come and share with us as we worship together in a home of prayer and praise –New Laigh Kirk, a caring welcoming church in the heart of Kilmarnock reaching out to all.
